It's an Island Packet, judged byFenenc Mate in his book, “World's Best Sailboats” to be one of the best. We purchased it because of the very airy accommodations; being comfortable and well designed. Only after living on it did we learn how fine a sailboat it is. Crossing to the South Pacific we sent many days sailing wing on wing with our spinnaker pole creating a fast comfortable sail even with the seas from several directions. Crossing to Australia we found we had no problem in 40 knots of wind. Sailing to Indonesia we had three continuous glorious days of spinnaker sail. A truly fine boat ready to continue cruising. |
